上次的酸面包，我说味道有点诡异的那只，确实是全麦粉放太久了，今天这只就很正常。因为是做过太多遍的流程、吃过太多遍的味道，所以就算出问题，也终于不会首先觉得是自己的问题。但我仍然不会安心。
面包在炉内裂开一条细细的斜纹。烤箱没有内灯，我打着手机灯看，生怕那耳朵就真的长歪。它状态不算太好，天实在太热了，我努力控制面温，简直是在从夏天嘴里抢救面包。再热下去只能等开空调再做了。这么想着，挨着烤箱扇风，给面包扇风，边等着它晾透边扇风。就是在这段等待里，有东西坏了。

after now three days of no nostr i'm finding that i get a lot more done
there's really not that much to catch up on even after 3 days i read the feed and i'm like, ok, 2 minutes done.
at the fiatmine we are now prepping for release, should be today, marketing people are hyping the project on x and hopefully this will get a lot of tire kickers and hopefully enough that the work i have done starts to pay off
i am about to start implementing the new realy database filter search/fulltext search algorithm in my spare time, it's a much more advanced and comprehensive set of indexes that cover everything, and searches should not require decoding any events without already knowing they all match, and further, it can skip that as well by just retrieving id/pubkey/kind/created_at from a special extra index to filter, sort all without touching the raw event.
the base implementation is only going to have a HTTP API, and after i have got that all done, then i will build a separate "proxy" that does the standard nostr style websocket connections, and translates them into http requests, which will let me focus on the HTTP, because part of my goal here is to have my employer switch over to a nostr-style protocol but with HTTP, to replace the existing chat and forum system, and for that also there will need to be a syncing protocol, which will use a demand cache driven architecture with master nodes that store the whole data set and front end replicas that only proactively cache new data and proxy requests and cache results for older data, and uses a LRU style GC policy to contain storage usage to balance performance against demand, and most importantly, this architecture is intended to be decentralised, for which i will be building a NWC/lightning based in-band payment system, that probably will be extended one by one to support arbitrary blockchain payment schemes - the idea will be that we pioneer this idea, get partners to run replicas that we pay for service, and then with the proof of concept there, ultimately the idea is to make this the new replacement for email and chat systems, all in one
there's a fairly long story arc to the realy project, hopefully once i have one live deployment i can find funding to develop this into a full blown decentralised service business model

⚡️🚨 NEW - Sygnum says Bitcoin's massive accumulation strategy could pose long-term risks.
Despite growing demand for Bitcoin, Swiss digital asset bank Sygnum warns of a concentration risk that could undermine its institutional adoption, particularly by central banks.
According to a report published on Tuesday, Sygnum points out that Strategy now holds almost 3% of the total #Bitcoin supply, a level the bank describes as "problematic".
Strategy is reportedly aiming for 5%, which Sygnum believes could jeopardize Bitcoin's status as a reserve asset. Such a concentration could dissuade central banks from considering Bitcoin as a viable safe-haven asset.

My house lost 40% of its value in bitcoin terms over the last 12 months
My insurance is down by 57%

In other words my life is getting cheaper across the board because I use bitcoin as my unit of account....
Its worth considering why the govt selected currency is making your life more expensive - just pick a hard currency like bitcoin or gold and you will get a different answer every time.
I could've listed everything on our family budget but you get the point... I do this to show you how money is supposed to work in a open and free market without the manipulation of the so called "money" by banks and govts.
You want your life to be cheaper start measuring your expenses in bitcoin.
I know your thinking who wants there house to lose value but its just an illusion - your money gained the exact amount in purchasing power because you can now buy a house like yours for half the price it was 12 months ago.....
This fiat experiment that we are in is coming to the end of its days, maybe its a decade or more away but its definitely coming to an end and IMO a return to hard money is going to be the solution - Gold did it for thousands of years until rulers and govts started to realise it could be diluted and debased by cutting coins or mixing the mint with other metals, bitcoin cannot be manipulated or inflated to suit govts or banks....
Who knows maybe bitcoin will fail in its attempt but you need to understand that this is what it was created to do, its not some speculative "crypto" asset that you invest in, its designed to be perfect money and so far its re pricing everything in my world the way a free market should do - and what you are seeing around the world these days is because the money is broken!!!!
If you want your kids — and their kids — to grow up in a world shaped by freedom and abundance, take the time to learn about the history of money and why Bitcoin was created. It’s not what most people think. It wasn’t designed for speculation or quick profits — it was built as a response to a broken system, to give people an escape valve from that broken system. 🙌

Ställd inför hotande fara och utan förståelse för dödens natur söker hon undvika den till varje pris. Men kan priset bli för högt? Detta är ämnen för individuell begrundan.

Die unterschiedlich skalierten Achsen sind natürlich eine klassische Manipulationstechnik. Andererseits sind die Skalierungen beider Grafiken für sich sinnvoll, d.h. der Wertebereich der Y-Achse passt zum höchsten Balken, das ist Defaulteinstellung in den meisten Softwares. IMO spricht diese Art der Skalierung eher gegen Verharmlosung. Man würde dafür eher die Y-Achse strecken, so dass der Anstieg weniger prominent erscheint.
