Okay, made some improvements to my experimental Nostr chat.
It's an ephemeral chat. Kinda like shooting the shit at the water cooler.
- local caching of messages, channels and user metadata.
- nip05 support with verified checkmarks
- Ability to switch to another relay if you'd like.
Still needs a handful of other things. Like ability to easily switch accounts with nostr extension. (if you need to just clear out local storage).
Needs better mobile layout.
Might also add unread counts to the channel list.

Is there a reason Amethyst couldn't send to the receiver's public inbox relays if they don't have a DM inbox relay set up? As outbox (hopefully) becomes more widely adopted, the likelihood that the receiver shares relays with the sender will get smaller over time.

You can use 3 things:
1- Google Play in the usual way all other apps do, without any other do (obviously this requires the "Play" flavor of Amethyst.
2- Via UnifiedPush with ntfy and other apps like that.
3- Via Pokey which stays connected to your inbox servers and sends the events to Amethyst for the Notification.

I am saying deleting is simpler and does not rely on the client, only on relays, so we shouldn't believe in editing. At least for now.
For example, Amethyst app supports post editing but the new version is only visible for Amethyst users. If you use any other client that don't understand kind:1010 you will see the original note without even realizing it has a new version. At least for now that is the state of the things, and it is not a good thing.

For the moment, i have some issues to find notes i liked on some interesting subject, but never have the need to deeply have an history modification of any of my note.
I don't know if it is really important to add this feature if it is not really mass used.
I think editing a note without any history will be used to correct errors, and this will for sure be used. I have seen note where people were complaining about it.

I was sending it from Amethyst. It failed at first but it went through but couldn’t find the DM Primal or Damus.
