I was just nudging about the latest primal release. 2.2 (latest I have is 2.1.11)
Update: while I was writing this I must have had a bug or something. 14 apps had updates to new releases simultaneously on nostr:nprofile1qqs83nn04fezvsu89p8xg7axjwye2u67errat3dx2um725fs7qnrqlgzqtdq0 must have been some kind of caching or refresh issue. I don't know if I can find the source and replicate.

That's not the claim. It's that filters enable your miner to select transactions YOU want to include. That is literally it. And by the same logic "if everyone followed the law, there would be no crime" is the same as the filter contention. But if MOST people filtered there would be LESS spam because of the sheer popularity of filtering. It's not a mandate, it's a consensus. Right now there is no dominant consensus.

Point taken. My address was more focused on the time dispensation for the good of the mission. Besides don't discount the fact that an overwhelming majority of users utilize Bitcoin Core to interact with the bitcoin network. Meaning the direct interaction with the most sovereign money devised is viewed through the Core code lens. Just food for thought.

Primal has joined the delete gang. This delete feature is labeled as a request, because it's impossible to delete your note from every single relay, caching service, local database, etc. Most relays and caching services do honor these requests, but some do not.

Balance. I do self-custody consultations. Every moment I spend answering questions clients ask for free is a moment I am not spending doing in-depth analysis of my clients. The problem is if I do not answer those questions with circumspection, I lose the trust of my clients. And TRUST matter more when they aren't the expert and you are. I just created and changed to a new Nostr address, for the first time in nearly 2.5 years. Why? Because I'm planning to go all-in at the Bitcoin Conference in Las Vegas. I'll be walking through the expo area, speaking with every business I see, and asking one simple question:
"What's your Nostr strategy?"
Changing my Nostr address to reflect this direction seemed like the right thing to do from a point-of-contact standpoint.
I still love Nostr Plebs and later this year we'll be finally rolling out some new features and a new UI ;)
