The pain of a #nostrelite? ;)
Jokes aside, absolutely a mood. My dayjob eats away too much of my time. I want to code and build more - instead I am stuck with backlogged issue tickets that I have yet to respond or that got closed because I was too slow. xD
Neat framework, honestly. A little too verbose, and not very Templ friendly - but for a very pure REST app, I think it's perfectly fine. :)

Tor and I2P, often refered to as "dark web", might actually be brighter than the "clean web" quite soon.

Sometimes I regret picking IT as my profession. I could've stood completely oblivious to this shit and needn't worry about it. This kind of "worry" or "kind of a depression-thing" is what actually had me discover Nostr. It did not feel good back then and it never will in the future either.
Honestly, sometimes, I just quietly think to myself, that shooting certain people might be better than demonstrating, at some point... x.x ugh.

Try your luck. o.o It's up and alive.
UI is hard. Like, actually, genuenly. xD
...also, link? Might need that... >.>" Trying to find a solution I like; and its so fucking hard ._.
matcha.css is great, but very limited, and pure CSS components (like rounded profile pictures and such) are always tied to another library or framework e.e
beer.css is great and feature rich - but customizing is hard, and I am rather sick of material design -.- At least actually customizing it is possible but annoying. (Let alone that the tools for generating md3 pallettes are weird as fuck.)
Bootstrap still wants jquery - bootstrap.native hasn't caught up in a while.
So yeah. Link please; might actually need this. xD
Probably gonna turn this into an alpinejs plugin eventually... https://github.com/clauderic/virtualized-list
Back in 2012, when I worked with AJAXChat, we would eventually notice our browser bugging out when too many messages were in memory. Sure, they're all technically just li>span with text, but after a while the backlog did get rather big :p So perhaps imma try and use this. o.o
Same person who made matcha.css also made mizu.js: https://mizu.sh/
Very much reminicent of DataStar and other hypermedia things. Honestly, it's pretty neat. o.o
Ok this is cool o3o Very component-y. Easy to drop in. Just wish I could load the SVG through the CSS to not having to remember to stuff it into my HTML. But, minor problem, really.

Still so sad that jailbreaking things has become even more of a nieche than it used to be...
Nowadays, it's just straight to the bounty/bug hunting site, get some cash off of it, and bugger off.
Really miss the time where jailbreaking/rooting things was much more of a goal, rather than a quick way to grab a buck.

A discord alternative? Hm... Will take a look. Hopefuly it's good.
But yeah, we do need marketing. Like, a lot of it. x) Mouth propaganda can only go so far.
Hate writing JS? Perhaps you have heared of GopherJS that turns Go into plain JS.
Well, it was broken in recent versions because one of the linknames was removed.
Long story short, it no longer is. https://github.com/gopherjs/gopherjs/pull/1367#pullrequestreview-2781409330
A few random braincells coming together where one finds a problem, another proposes a solution, another implements the solution and my braincell hacking together a quick PR.
Nothing spectacular by any means, and a super slow process. But, regardless, I think this is quite cool. ^^
I spent the last few days dumping ~30 discs (DVDs and BluRays) to my NAS, and now postprocessing them to remove subtitles and audiotracks I don't want/need.
It's fun. Each anime publisher has a certain style of how they layout their disc contents - some are super easy to click through in MkvToolNix; but some others are a PAIN in the ASS. xD
But, the main goal? Buy directly, own the disc, forever, and host it on my own Jellyfin.
#FuckTheCloud.
...they will be rehired.
Yes, AI is pretty good, LLMs with MCP and tool calling is dope as hell - but it will never and can never replace human intuition. It is also kinda bad at innovating; it goes off of what it knows.
For now, the hype is quite real, the tools are super fun, but once the results of all the vibe coding become obvious, a quiet backpaddle might happen. Not massive, because AI does save cost, but... it'll not replace as much as people think, imho.
Demo of #Alexandria's new Contact page, coming soon.
The same #Markdown functionality will be available in our social feed (including long-form articles, calendar events, kind 1111 comments, images and video events, and #gnostr issues). No, that still isn't anywhere near as advanced as our reading viewer, based upon #Asciidoc.
https://v.nostr.build/WC662kyA81fsQZcu.mp4
It was just so utterly unexpected. I didn't realize it while I stood there to buy the bundle. And neither that I would be a volume short...which I ordered...because like, for real...might as well commit all the way at this point. xD
#Jumble's codebase is super readable.
Case in point: I went looking where to technically add a ctrl+enter handle, and found it within 2 minutes: https://github.com/CodyTseng/jumble/blob/master/src/components/PostEditor/NormalPostContent.tsx#L181-L184
Technically, this should go into the TextArea ( https://github.com/CodyTseng/jumble/blob/master/src/components/PostEditor/NormalPostContent.tsx#L126-L132 ) in an onKeyDown event - or alike.
But the fact I found it so fast speaks for the codebase; I am not a React enjoyer, and yet found this really, really quickly. Great job - seriously, credit where it's due!
React and Radix primitives, with Tailwind and in TS/X. Solid o.o
Not a fan of React, but for a frontend-heavy app such as Nostr, this seems like a pretty good fit!
...found the source in the about page. Kinda like what I see; easy to read too.
Gonna try out #Jumble as suggested by nostr:npub1m4ny6hjqzepn4rxknuq94c2gpqzr29ufkkw7ttcxyak7v43n6vvsajc2jl
Feels pretty good so far. Is it open source?
I just impulse-bought a hentai OVA volume.
On germany's amazon.
https://image.nostr.build/f0c216a2b182e6f6c8ef8c41bec99fe2d598a7ea811ff1146687659f569f984d.png
I do not want to be one volume short, period. xD
At the MMC (Mega Manga Convention) Berlin, I found a booth that sold old anime.
One of them, that I bought, is "Romance is in the flash of the sword II".
...it's straight up a hentai, has a VNovel adaptation AND a continuation on the PS1.
But it is also so ultra nieche that I am sitting here with in-browser translation and reading this: https://erogamescape.dyndns.org/~ap2/ero/toukei_kaiseki/game.php?game=881
What the fuck did I purchase o.o...
I can't connect to most of my relays when posting a note, either, it says so with a timeout. o.o I just captured the first couple errors that weren't warnings.
Lemme see if I can get you a proper snippet...
idk where my account even is at anymore lol.
I think I had just met the kitsune-ish lady in container-country...?
Really wanna pick it up again some day - if I find the time.
Used that feature extensively on Twitter years ago to put together all the idols I was following.
Just the great and cute vibes and nothing else.
I had another just for wrestling things; podcasters, wrestlers and stuff.
It's such an amazing and helpful feature!
Damn, PHP got some syntax updates last I checked.
Did know of typing, did not know of slimmer lambdas!
https://github.com/gehrisandro/tailwind-merge-php/blob/main/src/Support/TailwindClassParser.php#L52
mmmh...this is tasty.
take this... https://github.com/winsw/winsw
and also this... https://creativeprojects.github.io/resticprofile/index.html
and probably a breeze of this... https://github.com/rclone/rclone
and maybe also your dotfile manager of choice...
and now you can configure backups to wherevertheheck you want as a windows service that will just exist and run.
Might set this up - but I do need a dotfile manager first and foremost... x.x
If my company isn't jumping - no, LEAPING - on this bandwagon soon, I would be genuenly impressed. Their boner towards MS products is insane.
Guess how much I suffer in this place...

People and orgs sharting out MCP servers is fascinating to watch.
To be fair, MCP is great. I saw their use in Cline _way_ before the boom happened. Even considered writing my own.
Will be fun to run those on my local network =)
Apple has dropped the ball on accessibility.
Linux just has none. Well yes, technically KDE has it, burried in desktop effects, and GNOME has a settings panel for that that you can hardly ocnfigure properly.
eh... im stuck on Windows untill all of this resolves ._.
Now I genuenly wonder, what is the BSD typical init system? Probably not systemd... or is it? o.o
I wonder because this thing here exists https://github.com/InitWare/InitWare
Proof that ALL development in and under Windows is jank:
https://github.com/cloudflare/workerd/blob/main/tools/windows/install-deps.bat#L72
This line. It blurts the entire MSYS2 stuff into your userspace PATH. This can cause soooooo many problems under windows, it's not even funny. xD
The recent Miku songs I have heared have some stupidly good tuning to them, its hyper impressive to me!

Because the GPU market sucks and the Ryzen AI Max is a very viable option, I am going to pair it with a TensTorrent card. Currently bombarding their support channel on Discord and getting my pointers ready.
This will be mad fun. :D
lil' pointer to you, the curious one: https://tenstorrent.com/hardware/blackhole
Aye, everyone has their reasons and opinions. All good man, that's whats humans do.
I am not into bitcoin whatsoever - but I _am_ into Nostr and it's capabilities.
It all works out in the end =)
So glad someone leaned into this. There are a few FF7 songs that just WANT to be remixed into DnB. This is one of them.

Would rather join an emulatoion dev's patreon...much more value long term - and super interesting stuff ontop. o.o

Still out here hoping for better times to come like the silly optimist I am.
Still out here hoping for good things to return to me for all the good things I did for others like a silly goldfish.
Still out here noting because I can. =)

Embedded Dev is something I purely admire. It is so nice =)
But other than that one day in the week I get with an esp32, I literally have no other chances to play with this; mainly due to time constraints...

I found my playlist for tomorrow.

#devstr Has anyone wrote a PAM module to do/facilitate Nostr Auth for SSH?
Apparently, new auth methods have to be implemented into OpenSSH (or your server of choice) AND the client - neither of them seem to have a "plugin system"...?
Peak 2000s PHP: https://github.com/SimpleMachines/SMF/blob/release-3.0/ssi_examples.php
Appreciate the DX of these days - it's been a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong64 road.
Neat! I wanna try writing my own from the ground up - partially for education, and also partially because... i have opinions, lol. I hosted many chatrooms back then, so if I am gonna make a chat client, I'll make one the way I would personally use. idk who will end up using it, so ill just take the chance to learn ^^
I haven't had the time for it, but I did concept "Project Headspace" as a nostr based alternative to Discord.
...welp, guess I better hurry?

Do you publicy expose your SSH server?
I would love to hear your opinion on this topic.

...seriously I need a tracking-remover tool that scans things going into my clipboard and strips them. argh. x.x
Discovered this band on "Radio Rheinwhelle 92.5" many years ago on a show named "Kopf und Bauch" - it was a genuenly great listen, and I harvested the fuck out of the playlists once I had the opportunity to. There are some absolutely rough, nasty, narly gems in there. =)
