O Conselho Administrativo de Defesa Econômica (Cade) autorizou a compra do Banco Master pelo BRB, instituição financeira pública sob controle do governo do Distrito Federal. A aprovação ocorreu nesta terça-feira, 17, e ocorreu sem restrições à formalização do negócio.
A transação, estimada em R$ 2 bilhões, prevê que o BRB passe a deter 58% do capital do Banco Master, sendo 100% das ações preferenciais e 49% das ordinárias. Apesar da validação por parte do Cade, a conclusão do acordo ainda necessita do aval do Banco Central.

I'm mostly avoiding news these days and looking at primary history sources. Anything written by someone who didn't live through it is suspect.
I find this takes very little news to accurately predict the future. I remember people watching the news during covid and it telling me it would be over in a couple of weeks. I said 18 months from the beginning because I went and read about previous flu pandemics. No one believed me.
The people already saying that Iran will kill an American and then America will enter the war are probably doing the same thing.
For American internal politics today I recommend Tyranny by Timothy Snyder. Newer book but it is written based on primary sources like personal journals from various countries that transformed from democracy into single party fascism over the 20th century.

your screeds definitely seem like doom porn to me. i get pretty tired of the innefectuality of the EFF since around the same time as boingboing went full democrat. i guess that was around trump 1.0 but i don't think that the "enemy" was the point it's the fact that the commie side has stepped over their limit and have arced up the resistance from normieland.
