sure but i judge that his approach is centralizing, and i feel that is because of his cynicism about nostr. which is fair, but my answer to it is "do we have to actually stick to these stupid, inflexible websocket APIs" and my answer is no and his answer is "we have to stick to it on the client facing side" you actually can do both. i'm going to prove that by building a bridging server that talks websocket to clients and http to relays.
i figured out that was the best compromise that would let my work be used but also open up new clients that speak only http. because that's what the rest of the world is doing, so i'm doing switzerland for nostr itself, not just my nonexistent relay service business.

I had the exact same sentiment yesterday. "Ignore the news, it is a distraction from how I can make my own life better." I believe it is a natural, creative reaction to feeling powerless over forces in the world that always work against us. The hope that the new administration would drive change to magically make our lives better is fully extinguished. To see Trump himself refuse to address to the media on possibly the most consequential turning of the tides in our lives by saying "we'll find out" about Iran, proves he is not the one pulling the strings. He is the America's PR face of Israel.
So what can we do about lost false hope?
Put our heads down and get to work...

Took a look at your kind 10002 (Public Outbox and Public Inbox relays) and though you have several listed, for some reason only one of them is flagged "write" and none of them are flagged "read".
Your most recent kind 3 (lists your "General Relays" has no relays listed at all, but I assume that is because you are following Vitor's instructions. Looks like a kind 3 published back on 6/8/25 also had no relays listed, though, so tjat very well may be why you weren't getting anything in your feed with no "read" relays in either your kind 10002 or your kind 3.

i wish i had a farmers market, with farmers who don't feed all their beasts corn.
i'm so sick of tasting corn oil taint in everything.
speaking of which i need to cook up some *veal* mince that has been fed locked in an enclosure fed corn.
the only animals on this island that don't get fed corn is goats, but you gotta butcher them right because their skank glands, by which i mean lymph glands, stink so bad that if you don't remove them, it ruins the entire cut.
goat is nice, it's like some midway between venison and veal. i bet that 2 year old goats taste good, given you didn't slash open those skank glands.
