⚡️🇮🇳 UPDATE - Vishwash Kumar Ramesh was the sole survivor of the Air India Boeing 787 crash, according to India Today.
Ramesh, 40, says there was a loud noise after takeoff.
“Thirty seconds after take off, there was a loud noise and then the plane crashed. It all happened so quickly,” he said to the Hindustan Times.
“When I got up, there were bodies all around me. I was scared. I stood up and ran. There were pieces of the plane all around me. Someone grabbed hold of me and put me in an ambulance and brought me to the hospital.”
Vishwash is a British national and was visiting family in India.
He was reportedly sitting towards the front in seat 11A.

We're going to be moving forward under the expectation that future Pixel devices may not meet the requirements to run #GrapheneOS (https://grapheneos.org/faq#future-devices) and may not support using another OS. We've been in talks with a couple OEMs about making devices and what it would cost.
In April 2025, we received leaked information about Google taking steps to strip down the Android Open Source Project. We were told the first step would be removal of device support with the launch of Android 16. We didn't get details or confirmation so we didn't prepare early.
We spent most of May preparing for the Android 16 release. Due to our extensive preparation work, our initial port to Android 16 has been completed and is being tested in the emulator. We could have published experimental releases yesterday if this was a regular AOSP release.
Due to AOSP no longer having device support, we need to build it ourselves. We can start from the Android 15 QPR2 device support, remove the outdated code and update the configurations. We have tooling to automate generating device support setups which will need major expansions.
Since our port to Android 16 is going to be delayed by a week or more, we're in the process of backporting the Android 16 firmware/drivers released on June 10 to the previous releases. This is not something we can do in general so we still need to port to Android 16 this month.
Despite our lead developer who has done 90% of the ports for several years being conscripted into an army, we were still able to complete the initial port to Android 16 in under 2 days, but without device support. Our extensive preparation in April and especially May paid off.
It's important to get an experimental release out quickly to begin extensive public testing. There are usually many issues found in testing. For a yearly release, we usually get out an experimental release in a day, an Alpha channel release in 2 days and need 4-6 more releases.
Google has released a statement claiming AOSP is not being discontinued. This should be taken with a grain of salt, especially considering that they made similar public statements recently followed by discontinuing significant parts of AOSP on June 10.

【卫健部门回应湖南湘雅二院坠亡实习医生所涉举报材料：联合调查组调查中】2022年8月，网上对湘雅二医院医生刘翔峰的举报持续不断：夸大患者病情、虚构患者病征，给不具备相关手术指征的患者实施手术……2022年8月25日，长沙市纪委监委发布消息称，经医学专家对刘翔峰医疗行为核查，最终认定其涉嫌严重违法，有关部门已将其控制调查。就在刘翔峰接受调查期间，2024年5月8日，湘雅二医院实习医生罗帅宇坠楼身亡。警方初步认定排除他杀。
罗帅宇的父母找医院要回儿子的遗物，医院负责人要求必须签署“认定自杀”的协议才肯归还。罗父罗母拿到遗物后，发现电脑的数据已被人删除，请技术人员恢复电脑数据后，发现里面有大量的举报材料。举报资料显示，实习期间，罗帅宇发现了医院存在医疗腐败行为，尤其是副主任刘翔峰的过度医疗等不当操作，如切除患者正常肠管、伪造绝症病例、故意把结石塞进病人体内等，还疑似存在洗钱活动。2024年10月31日刘翔峰被判决有期徒刑17年，并处罚金四十二万元。2024年12月24日，罗甫祥（罗帅宇父亲）将罗帅宇留下的疑似举报相关材料和录音，向国家卫生健康委员会、湖南省卫生健康委员会进行了反映。

All these years we have been going by the Honor system. They put capsules in a jar and say this is Essential Aminos or whatever it is your taking. The label says it, so it must be true.

I watched the Jordon Peterson VS Michael Saylor podcast, and I want to mention a couple of things I found interesting.
Jordon was able to get a bit of psychological background on Saylor like no one else has done, and I could tell when he realised he was making it too obvious, bordering on saying, "Now, tell me about your mother".
At those moments, instead of pausing to let Saylor answer, he realised it was too much psychoanalysis, and he would continue the question without pausing, merging into his own general analysis about people, sort of back peddling the question by having a conversation - I see what you're doing Jordon, LOL.
Another thing I noticed was the power struggle. We all know Michael likes to dominate and set the agenda of what he will be talking about and at what point the conversation would shift, despite him being the guest, not host.
Jordon was quite good at reigning him in, and interrupting by pretending to be super interested in something else, and Saylor fell for it. It got subtly awkward at times, but Jordon handled it well.
The ending was handled nicely, I won't spoil it.
