Watching the last season of The Office, and my husband and I keep reacting to how Jim and Pam keep hiding things from each other. Pam not sharing how she's feeling, and Jim making decisions without including her, even after he realizes that he'd missed it. I guess he didn't understand what it was that he'd actually missed.
Keeping secrets from a spouse, trying to spare their feelings, is a really stupid idea, and will result in distance and more conflict than if you trust that they can manage their own reactions, and that you sharing your feelings doesn't actually mean you're against what they wanna do, it's actually a way to open up the conversation and maybe find a way where you can both win!

Ejem, era perfecto almenos al principio, jugaba a tu la llevas (pilla pilla), y al escondite con el resto de niños, y en clase apenas teníamos que trabajar pero la profesora era una bruja, Balbina la llamaban, durante el curso habíamos tenido varias, pero esa me marcó tres veces lo que sería toda mi vida escolar, ¿y qué pasó? " dijo con entusiasmo la nieta"
Pues... ¿como te lo digo?, ah sí, todo empezó cuando ella nos puso una ficha donde había que pintar músicos, y yo a uno de ellos le pinté el pelo de negro, a otro de marrón, rubio, azul y verde, el cado es que ella me regañó y para una niña de 3 años era muy fuerte, pero no lloré, solo le dije pero ..., pero... (tartamudeando), pero si tu lo tienes morado, "¿tu te crees que la gente va por el mundo pintandose el pelo de colores?".
Las otras veces, fueron, por gritar, que me puso cara a la pared, y yo seguía mirando a su clase, fue la única vez que atendí a su clase, castigo tras castigo yo de niño iba cuestionando su profesionalidad como si fuera una adolescente, yo me había revelado porque sabía que por el hecho de ser autoridad, ella no tenía razón, y eso le marcó la vida para bién y para mal, empezaría a luchar...
"Más, más", dijo la nieta con entusiasmo, dando palmadas, será otro día ahora es tarde.
