Uma mulher foi resgatada por moradores do bairro Promorar, na Zona Sul de Teresina, após uma correnteza se formar na avenida principal. A capital registrou, na noite de quarta-feira (21), 87 mm de chuva, de acordo com a Secretaria do Meio Ambiente e Recursos Hídricos do Piauí (Semarh).

Um vídeo feito no local (assista acima) mostra um grupo de homens retirando a mulher da via alagada e a levando para uma calçada. Não se sabe o estado de saúde dela.

A chuva também causou transtornos em pelo menos outros dois bairros da Zona Sul. No Lourival Parente, uma casa foi invadida pela água e a moradora precisou pular o muro para escapar.
A TV Clube apurou que ela mora na residência com o marido e precisou ser socorrida por uma ambulância do Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu) porque sentiu uma forte dor nas costas após pular o muro.
O casal perdeu duas camas, uma geladeira, um fogão, um guarda-roupa, dois ventiladores e alguns documentos.
Já no bairro Angelim, outro morador teve a casa parcialmente tomada pela água. Ele não se feriu e estava consciente quando foi atendido.

Ruas e avenidas de Teresina ficam alagadas após forte chuva

O litoral, o Norte e o Centro-Norte do Piauí devem ter chuvas até domingo (25), aponta uma previsão da Sala de Monitoramento e Prevenção de Eventos Climáticos Extremos da Semarh.
Segundo a pasta, em parceria com o Instituto Nacional de Meteorologia (Inmet), as chuvas serão favorecidas pela presença de instabilidades atmosféricas.
A climatologista Sara Cardoso, coordenadora da Sala de Monitoramento, explica que a atuação da Zona de Convergência Intertropical (ZCIT), mesmo posicionada mais ao norte do Hemisfério Sul, vai contribuir para a entrada de umidade no Norte do estado.
“Essa condição, somada à presença de um cavado, que é uma área de baixa pressão que se forma nos médios e altos níveis da atmosfera, criará um ambiente favorável à formação de nuvens carregadas e pancadas de chuva, principalmente, nos dias 21 e 22 de maio”, afirma a secretaria.
