Catholic, orthodox, and Protestant are not “denominations” they are large groups within Christendom called “Traditions” made up of many denominations. Methodist and Presbyterian and Roman Catholic and Coptic Catholic and Eastern Orthodox and Coptic orthodox are all different denominations within different traditions. Just FYI!

The Catholic Church doesn’t teach that though. This is what Protestants tell each other about Catholics but that’s due to their own ignorance. Catholicism both Roman Catholicism and orthodox Catholicism (Protestants are, again, too ignorant to know the differences between Catholicisms) has always and continues to teach primacy of conscience over papal supremacy. Always. This has been reaffirmed by every pope in my lifetime too.

The Trinity is spoken of throughout Scripture, but it takes looking at lots of verses to fullly see it. In Genesis 1:26 "Then God said, 'Let Us make man in Our image...' ." God refers to Himself as plural, the first reference to the Trinitarian nature of God.
In John 8:58 "Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am.”" When He said "I am" he used the double "I am" that was identical to the Septuagint translation of the Old Testament and used when Moses asked who to say had sent him. Exodus 3:14 "God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM”; and He said, “Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ ” "I AM" is worded as two different phrases that mean "I am" combined together like "I am I am". This phrase was only used to mean God, which is why the Pharisees immediately sought to kill Jesus for blasphemy.

When Jesus died on the cross, the curtain before the Holy of Holies was torn in two, from the top to bottom, by God. He removed the separation between the common people and Himself. He said it was no longer necessary to go through a priest to approach God. We have direct access. Sadly the Catholic church leadership has slowly been rebuilding that separation from God.
Like so many human organizations, the people who seek leadership tend to not be those who believe in the mission of the organization, but those who seek power. Slowly, over time, the Bishop of Rome took onto himself the authority of Pope,. and relatively recently (forget the dates because I'm terrible with dates) took on ultimate authority for himself. The corruption in Rome is massive and many (most?) of the leaders push unbiblical principles and even focus more on cultural/political subjects than on biblical ones.
I do know lots of wonderful Catholic Christians who believe the Bible and worship Jesus/God/Spirit faithfully, but based on their actions, I truly do not believe that many of the leaders of the Catholic Church are Christians at all. For their sake, I hope I am wrong.

The day of the election, I was at first very excited to have our first pontiff born in the United States, thinking this is a sign of the end of the animosity from Rome.
Yesterday, I was more apprehensive as I learned of some of His stances and pay record.
Today, I am hopeful. He delivered an actually decent homily! I am sorry to say the bar was set very low, but I more now that through Leo XIV we are able to heal the divide in our Church.
I am hopeful that he is young enough and being a native English speaker he will be able to dialogue with us in the English speaking world--especially in his home, the United States--to learn of our love and need for Tradition; that we might see that the "migrant" problem that we in the US and in Europe have is not an issue of a lack of charity toward distant neighbors but one of a right and responsibility to self-protection; that we would again become a missionary Church that converts the heretics and pagans to the one, true Faith, rather than repeat the free-Masonic mantras of equality of religions; and that we would cease the pandering to the media, trying to be nice and not offend the world, especially in regards to sexual issues.
These are my hopes and prayers.

This allows miners to choose their business model. They have the option to choose long term profits, which means they are not dependent on JPEG fees to pay utility bills.
Some miners will choose short term profits and JPEGs, some miners will choose long term profits and healthy blocks.
Generally, companies with longer timeframes are more successful.

I'm saying that ALL denominational churches with paid clergy/priests/whatever are ALL incorrect and NOT in accordance with the will of God. Orthodox, Catholic, and all Protestant denominations alike. All of that structure and regulation is obfuscation at best and idolatry at worst and just completely unnecessary.
The ecclesia spoken of by the apostles is NOT what we have now, nor what was intended.
I don't need a priest, pope, or patriarch when I have direct access through Christ. All that other stuff is just a bureaucratic complication that has done very little else than to water down the Gospel. I find it all contemptable.
Why should I not want the falsities to be burned away, both within me and without in the world?
The Body of Christ is NOT led by a man other than Christ himself. There is no place I've seen in scripture that leads me to think otherwise.
