Kriegstüchtige Kasernen
(Eigener Bericht) – Im Rahmen der Um- und Aufrüstung der Bundeswehr für einen Krieg gegen Russland intensiviert die Bundesregierung die Baumaßnahmen an Bundeswehrkasernen. Das Bundesministerium der Verteidigung gibt an, im vergangenen Jahr rund 1,6 Milliarden Euro in Bundeswehrliegenschaften investiert zu haben. Das ist eine deutliche Steigerung innerhalb eines Jahrzehnts: 2013 waren es noch 0,6 Milliarden Euro gewesen, 2023 dann schon mit 1,3 Milliarden Euro mehr als doppelt so viel; die Steigerung von 2023 bis 2024 betrug erneut mehr als 20 Prozent. In den Kasernen lässt Berlin unter anderem neue Unterkünfte, Ausbildungsstätten und Spezialgebäude für neue Waffensystem errichten. Bürokratische Hürden für militärische Bauvorhaben hat die Bundesregierung bereits deutlich reduziert und plant für die nächsten Monate weitere Deregulierungsschritte. Das soll nicht zuletzt ein standardisiertes Bauen durch Generalunternehmen ermöglichen. Mit dem Aufbau einer autonomen (Not-)Stromversorgung will Berlin zudem die Bundeswehrliegenschaften resilienter machen. In einem Krieg gegen die Atommacht Russland wären die Bundeswehrkasernen ein potenzielles Angriffsziel – anders als bei den Kriegen etwa in Mali oder Afghanistan.

Same, though less of a problem since I retired. When working, I tended to get sleepy around 10 pm, and if I didn’t stay off the computer and wind down to sleep, it’s like I got a second wind of energy and worked on stuff straight through to 2-3 am.

For a decision of self-defense under German law, two conditions must be met: first, there must be a present, unlawful attack, and second, the defensive action must be necessary and proportionate to repel the attack.
So the court could examine whether the resident attempted to hide, disarm the intruder, or eliminate the danger in some other way 🤡
