This attack is almost exactly like the annoying scramble words one, but worse. The scrambled words have gone away at the same time.
Probably the same group or actor and my guess is it's someone who uses nostr regularly. They're probably having a good laugh right now and they're probably incredibly gay.

I absolutely understand how confusing the whole relay setup can be.
Writing to multiple relays is for the purpose of redundancy and censorship resistance. There is nothing that says you need to read from multiple relays, though. If you have one relay that shows you all the notes you want to see, then there's no need to read from more than that.
It's also not just paid relays that are an option for reading from that spammers are not likely to have write access. Web-of-trust relays are also a good option.

Yes, more integrity for the media for sure, since the hash of the data can be checked against the file name to ensure they still match. Redundancy of the media is dependent on it being mirrored to other Blossom servers, though. Currently Amethyst doesn't support mirroring your uploads to multiple Blossom servers. I am hoping that will be coming in a future update, as other Nostr clients HAVE added that feature.

Blossom is a protocol, just like Nostr, but built for hosting media files instead of text notes.
Instead of those files having a traditional file name, the file name is a hash of its content. This means the same file can ve stored on more than one server and if the original server is down, it can easily be located on other servers, because the hash will be the same.
It also means that the file's content can be hashed and checked against the file name to ensure the data hasn't been changed since it was originally updated. No one can pull a fast one by replacing your photo from the Grand Canyon with a gif of Rick Astley.

Bitcoin is such a money, if you make it so for your node. Many, including me, worry what Bitcoin may or may not become, how decentralized it is, how spammy, et c. But those are all secondary concerns. Mercenary or antagonistic miners will always be around, and statists and evildoers of all varieties too, but this is not much of a threat to our bitcoin. All that you have to do is decide what to do with the timechain that is given to you. Some people use their speech (money) to incite aggression. We don't have to. We still control what we control. And the market provides opportunities. Mercenary miners can even help us get our transactions across, by paying for them to use better block templates. Having this level of control in individual hands can only on net be a good thing, regardless of how other modes behave.

经武汉市委批准，武汉市纪委监委对武汉市人民政府原副秘书长、机关党组成员、武汉市城市运行管理中心原主任周大鸿严重违纪违法问题进行了立案审查调查。经查，周大鸿背离初心使命，罔顾中央八项规定精神，参与违规吃喝、违规打牌；与他人串供，对抗组织审查；收受可能影响公正执行公务的礼品、礼金、消费卡，不按规定报告个人有关事项；利用职务上的影响为亲属在经营活动方面谋取利益;违反国家法律，利用职务上的便利以及职权或者地位形成的便利条件，为他人在承接工程项目等方面谋取利益，并非法收受巨额财物。周大鸿严重违反党的政治纪律、中央八项规定精神、组织纪律、廉洁纪律，构成严重职务违法并涉嫌受贿犯罪，且在党的十八大后不收敛、不收手，性质严重，影响恶劣，应予严肃处理。根据《中国共产党纪律处分条例》《中华人民共和国监察法》《中华人民共和国公职人员政务处分法》等有关规定，经武汉市纪委常委会会议研究并报武汉市委批准，决定给予周大鸿开除党籍处分；由武汉市监委给予其开除公职处分；收缴其违纪违法所得；将其涉嫌犯罪问题移送检察机关依法审查起诉，所涉财物一并移送。
