Bitcoin is such a money, if you make it so for your node. Many, including me, worry what Bitcoin may or may not become, how decentralized it is, how spammy, et c. But those are all secondary concerns. Mercenary or antagonistic miners will always be around, and statists and evildoers of all varieties too, but this is not much of a threat to our bitcoin. All that you have to do is decide what to do with the timechain that is given to you. Some people use their speech (money) to incite aggression. We don't have to. We still control what we control. And the market provides opportunities. Mercenary miners can even help us get our transactions across, by paying for them to use better block templates. Having this level of control in individual hands can only on net be a good thing, regardless of how other modes behave.
