I hear you. Up to this point I've heard him talk about charitable future plans, but I haven't seen him implement them.
I imagine part of the reason for that is because he's waiting for BTC to appreciate so he can make a large impact. At this phase it makes more sense to accumulate than spend money on anything else.
Time will tell if he ends up spending his money for the betterment of everyone. I'm hopeful that he will.

The network is robust in its unstructured simplicity. Nodes work all at once with little coordination. They do not need to be identified, since messages are not routed to any particular place and only need to be delivered on a best effort basis. Nodes can leave and rejoin the network at will, accepting the proof-of-work chain as proof of what happened while they were gone. They vote with their CPU power, expressing their acceptance of valid blocks by working on extending them and rejecting invalid blocks by refusing to work on them. Any needed rules and incentives can be enforced with this consensus mechanism.

Traveling Maine's Highway 1 (Bar Harbor, Portland, Kennebunkport, Ogunquit)
We hit Maine to visit Acadia NP, but visited several towns along the coast (along Highway 1) while we were there. We saw lots of cool towns, hiked many beautiful coastlines, and visited tons of lighthouses. We saw Portland on the way in and out, stayed in Bar Harbor for a few days, and hit Ogunquit while staying one night in Kennebunkport.
