Can you provide more information about this? The type of device being used (phone? tablet?), the screen resolution available and how the features get in the way of typing? If you have screenahots or photos of that it would help me understand.
The current text chat in Corny Chat is a bit clunky and will likely be overhauled in the future. So anything that can be highlighted as things working well as is vs that which is problematic Id be interested in feedback on to work into a future update.

I believe this kind of feature would require audio stream being sent to a separate service to peform speech to text services. It would be a significant privacy concern and a set of technical hurdles that I dont forsee being addressed in the near term.
Thanks for reaching out with this accessibility question though as its a good reminder to add reasonable features to aid in the user experience.

Is it possible to implement Live Caption / Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART) services for those with hearing difficulties on #cornychat, #hivetalk, or similar nostr web applications for a frictionless experience?

For common android devices I use Kiwi browser and NOS2X extension and a VPN
If using graphene on pixel, Ive used Duck Duck Go browser, no extensionยน. Vanadium may work for extensions but i havent explored that. The Tor browser is generally a no-go as it doesnt support WebRTC for the audio component.

ยนWhen accessing without an extension you can verify your npub via kind 1 message posted using an alternate client. This will let people see your verified identity but you wont be able to use features like NWC for payments, or posting nostr events with the app. Basic text chat (not to nostr live activity) is supported along with in app private direct messages

i suppose thats possible. the dogs are inside now. the next time it happens i'll try to see more of whats going on. at least temps are no longer as frigid as they were in winter.

Generally cleaning. A few minutes spraydown. I dont think they intended as punishment but it had to have been tortorous for the animal to make such loud noises

Every now and then, maybe once a week, id hear this noise outside like a dog in agony whimpering but couldnt figure out what it was.
Today it was so loud that it was upsetting Barry and he was barking.
I check the front, the back, and front again and find it...
Neighbors a bit down the street outside with their dogs, spraying them with cold water from the garden hose. Its 50ยฐF (10ยฐC) out.
People that do this should not have pets.
