I think a nice feature would be for the total number of users in a pack to be displayed next to the Follow All button, not just on the main list, so people know how many users they will be following before they add them.

OK, it definitely seems like a one-time glitch, because I see the snapshot history now, and was able to add a new pack without an issue.

and i also said, many times, over a month now that the admin options require NIP-98 auth and i made two tools for either pushing files to it (nurl) or creating tokens you can use in that Authorization header with forward dated expiry on them so you can use the thing
there's nothing more i can do than explain stuff to questions about how it works i am adding a brief discussion of this stuff into the readme on the repo and i'm done, i feel like i'm dealing with an intransigent tech support customer who doesn't listen to anything i say and keeps on trying to blame me for their problems after they don't do what i say will fix it

It really amazes me what gets funded sometimes.
I could see the scam being something like this… $200M is the “sticker” funding, with the actual release of funds being on a slower timeline with milestones.
But the VCs get their cash back and then some thru the token sale before they put in too much. Then they turn off the cash spigot when it doesn’t go well.
Basically how many of these crypto scams go- VCs found a way to take minimal risk thru token issuances. Many of them are also conveniently in the market making game. It’s all a fugazi.

Anyone that cares about cost also uses inscriptions. Those will not switch to OP_RETURN for 4x.

Yesterday I accidentally stumbled onto a link for a “decentralized social network” called DeSo (get it?) that apparently raised $200 million from Sequoia, a16z, and Coinbase last year. They (of course) did a token launch and snagged another $75 million from the crowdsale, which is now down 97% from the launch and 85% in just the last year.
I checked it out, and there is literally nothing happening on it. Seems like only a few people post on it per day. You have to set up a wallet before you can even sign in, which is apparently how every blockchain-based social app operates.
People post bad NFTs and complain about spam. Once and a while, the founder checks in to share an update and a few users mock him because there’s absolutely no network effect whatsoever.
