#Poland is facing an unprecedented attempt by #Russia to interfere in its presidential election, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digitalization Krzysztof Gawkowski said.
According to him, the interference is taking place “through the spread of disinformation combined with hybrid attacks on Poland’s critical infrastructure, aimed at paralyzing the normal functioning of the state.”
He noted that the attacks have targeted water utilities, thermal power plants, energy infrastructure, and state administration bodies. The level of Russian cyber threats in Poland has more than doubled compared to last year.
