Tiny hands in Sunday dress,
A whispered prayer, a soft caress.
Icons gleam, a light so old,
A story in my heart unfolds.
How can I teach what I can't see?
The Holy #Mystery, wild and free.
I point to Christ, on wood and wall,
Hoping they'll hear His gentle call.
My doubts arise, a chilling fear,
Am I enough, to hold them near?
But in their eyes, so bright and clear,
I see His #Grace, dispelling tear.
Through chant and psalm, and whispered creed,
I plant a tiny, hopeful seed.
Trusting He'll guide, when I am gone,
His endless love, from dusk till dawn.
