Agree to disagree. I think we need more Bitcoin implementations which is healthy for the network. Core's hegemony has become a vulnerability, and some of their contributors are clearly pushing big miner's agenda. This goes beyond stopping spam on my node. This is about bringing back the power of small nodes and keep bad actors in check. If we wanna have a truly permissionless protocol, we need to fight against mining centralization which is the real danger.
