Every time somebody in our neighborhood with a perfect yard sells their house, it takes about 3 months, tops, before the yard is full of weeds with the new owners. Even the people who stay in their homes, who pay hundreds or thousands of dollars to install perfect turf, it usually takes only about 3 months for the weeds to come back. Gives me a bit of schadenfreuden tbh. I embrace the dandelions and violets and everything else.
