Hey nostr:nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7etyv4hzumn0wd68ytnvv9hxgqgcwaehxw309akxjemgw3hxjmn8wfjkccte9e3k7mgqyzh0p44jz2p87wapmescjcf7d4yzfuvp74nmzgzjw0qk390a4u9jxlprakr
I'm thinking of emulating your efforts to regenerate Bedford for Ventnor on the Isle of Wight, which is one of the 20% poorest areas in the UK.
I have had some initial success orange pilling two hotels, a gymnasium and a local online business as well as several individuals whose lives will be transformed by HODLing Bitcoin.
I am also offering to help the local homeless cafe create a Bitcoin strategic reserve and setup a Lightning address to accept "pay forward" payments globally, instead of just from local customers.
However, I'm seeing more and more over reach by government and other agencies making my efforts harder by the day.
May I ask how you deal with over bearing bureaucracy and corruption within corporations when running your businesses and what motivates you to keep pushing back?
I have already started my efforts in Ventnor, but I'm at a fork where I need to decide whether to stay and fight or run and live in fun.
I'd appreciate any insights or experiences you can share.
Thank you.
P.S.
Here are two examples, both happening currently that are swaying me to leave:
