In any case, even if you can take the Old Testament's clear acknowledgement that Yaweh is just one god among many, there remains the question of why you should believe any of this in the first place. You weren't there, so ultimately you are relying on a book and a tradition - but there are other books and other traditions. What makes you so sure you found the true one?
