One of the largest investor scams in the country's history: A plan to buy shares in exchange for a fixed return of 7-10% led to losses of $350 million for around 6,000 private investors. Three companies have already gone bankrupt, one of the founders committed suicide, and authorities have launched investigations. 'We put all our savings, which we worked hard for, into this scam', said one of the victims, 'now we want justice'.
