Perception is reality
Your mind is the world you inhabit, and everything is shaped by our minds interactions with itself and those around us.
Everything I learned in sociology suggests this as well.
And if you say well some people are oppressed by systems over time (like Fiat for example!) well, yes, but how do people break free from those systems?
Through mindful action - saying and thinking I *will* make a difference, and doing it.
