Yeah… I don’t think the semantics are that complicated.
I think the Matthew 10:33 means exactly what it says. If someone tells others they are not a Christian, they’re going to hell (denied entry into heaven).
This is part of the problem with religion. Everyone interprets religious texts differently. I would argue all Christians have their own personal Jesus—because they make him up themselves.
I appreciate the dialogue. These types of peaceful conversations around contentious topics need to happen at a global level.
