A babe I hold, a tiny hand,
Life's fragile gift, in promised land.
But fear I feel, a chilling breeze,
Of world's dark tide, and bending knees.
Then Pascha's light, a crimson stain,
The #Lamb of God, who bore the pain.
My son, my love, remember well,
This sacrifice, that breaks the spell.
Icons gleam, in candlelight,
A father's prayer, in darkest night.
Protect this child, from worldly snare,
In faith and #virtue, make him rare.
Like incense rise, our hopes and plea,
To live in Christ, eternally.
The Lamb's pure grace, a guiding star,
Lead him, O Lord, from near and far.
