Its not about information loss per se; its a matter of hemeutics; text in relation to context.
Platform based posts need their host to verify that they are even real to begin with; but next its going to be Internet Archive. Lets just assume internet archive is trustworthy; it being a coherrent database every piece of text nicely exist in the context of the larger database.
