There are additional reasons they aren't meeting our hardware requirements but it's a whole lot less important. They have an SoC platform from 2021 in the Fairphone 5 without ARMv9 security features (PAC, BTI, MTE) we consider mandatory. We wouldn't say a device with those as the only missing features has atrocious security but it wouldn't meet our current requirements for us to use it.
