My husband has studied personalities a lot, and I love watching him interact with people and seeing their reactions when he starts to share with them how they work!
A lot of people don't feel seen or understood, so the gift he gives them when he basically deciphers them is so cool!
Knowing oneself is important because it helps with decision making.
Knowing how others work is also helpful as it improves all relationships. Knowing why someone does something differently than ourselves removed the friction and or annoyance that otherwise so often hurts relationships.
