A splintered cross, a child's small hand,
The Proverbs open, wisdom planned.
For wayward steps and hearts astray,
A father's words light up the way.
"Fear #God first," I softly say,
As icons watch us kneel and pray.
"The #HolySpirit is our guide,
In virtue, truth, we must abide."
Through sleepless nights and furrowed brow,
I seek His counsel, here and now.
To raise them in the ancient light,
And shield their souls from endless night.
Each verse a lamp, a guiding star,
To lead them from this world afar.
To love, to serve, to understand,
With Christ's own mercy in their hand.
