Good Evening Nostr. How are you folks doing?
I turned of all GenAI tools today, I also didn't bother to review anyone elses PRs, so I had zero interaction with AI slop. And honestly? I never felt more productive.

The 30 commits on GitHub are only for my non-fiat-mining stuff. There's another 30 commits or so in other repos. And more important than vanity commit metrics, I actually got some stuff finished today... Guess what? Without fighting AI slop (directly or indirectly when reviewing other people's code), actually finishing something feels energising. It's 18:40 here and I still have plenty of energy left to spend solid quality time with my family.
Here's my take on AI Tools. I'm not saying that you shouldn't use GenAI, but honestly, turning it off for a bit is... Refreshing! Everybody in tech should give themselves some AI Detox time from time to time.
