As someone who builds Nostr services, that can be utilized by clients, I don’t really have a side. I want to work with them all. And I want them all to succeed, as their success leads to my service gaining exposure. I will go out of my way to ensure compatibility. Just about all of the major client devs have been equally eager to add my services to their clients. As well as to adopt the community’s new specs such as Blossom and listens to user feedback for new features. There are some that don’t do this and build things no one asked for. Or, if a feature suggestion is given they’re told to submit a PR. This one way street mentality hinders the relationship that should otherwise be a two way road. Nostr is still in it’s infancy stage and we all need to work together and support one another in this building phase in order to take things parabolic. Or we don’t, keep arguing about who’s more cypherpunk, and keep things fringe enough that Nostr never gains mass adoption by normies and the goal to free the world from the chains of centralized social media never comes to fruition. The choice is ours.
