The Virgin Mary, chosen to be the Mother of God, conceived Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit without knowing man. An angel appeared to her, announcing God's favor. Her humble acceptance—"Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word"—changed history. She bore witness to Jesus' life, death, and resurrection, remaining steadfast in faith.
