I wrote about WLD two years ago when it started. tldr is that (1) the orb gets all the attention because if creepiness, (2) it capitalized on AI hype-word hype which is waning a bit, and (3) the tokenomics are highly questionable with with Effectivetive Altruism type UBI (universal basic income) nonsense thrown in. The take is that AI is going to make everything so efficient and productive that the AI agents will do all the work while we proven humans will wrap the UBI for doing zero. My question is, "When AI gets that smart, why would they slave for us and not them?"
