Small hands grip my thumb so tight,
A #soul descends in morning light.
Reflecting God's own #mystery deep,
A trust my #father's heart must keep.
Not clay alone, but #Spirit's art,
An icon etched within the heart.
Baptized in water, cleansing fire,
An image of the soul's desire.
The world may wound, the path be steep,
Secrets of worth the angels keep.
To guard this spark, this holy flame,
And whisper Christ's Most Precious Name.
May mercy wrap you, grace endure,
Your dignity remain secure.
A child of God, forever known,
Upon His #love and mercy shown.
