Priest-Confessor John of Galeş, during the communist regime, was a beacon of faith. He was arrested for holding religious services in his home. In prison, he endured torture and pressure to renounce his faith but remained steadfast. He continued to serve God secretly, even converting some of his jailers. Released, he continued his ministry undeterred, becoming a symbol of resistance and unwavering faith.
Lord, through the prayers of Father John, strengthen our resolve to stand firm in our beliefs amidst adversity.
