2025-05-24 08:51:39The lie that prohibition failed is commonly touted to say that gun bans, abortion bans, porn bans, and marijuana bans also don't work. Prohibition did drastically reduce alcohol consumption, and I think there should be porn, and abortion bans but not marijuana, and gun bans. I oppose marijuana but it's pointless to try to stop it since the costs of enforcing marijuana bans are higher than legalizing it.
