I'm quite pleased with myself at the moment, we badly needed new curtains and I got a money off voucher for 50 quid reduction and I hope they bloody well fit ok when they arrive! Our windows are mental, over large for the house, the front part was built in 1928 and I think they must have been drunk when they did it. Well, what I mean is I feel the windows did not need to be as large, Georgian bar double, as in two of them, long, side by side, a pillar in between. Made to measure curtains would really be the better option but buggered if I am paying for that, and the struggle to make sure the sizing is right. So due to the stupid size of them re widths I ended up having to get longer ones again, so would fit properly across the way, the shorter drop was too narrow in the widths. Bastard house!
