2025-05-06 13:47:37I get your point about technical specialisms and mastodon. I couldn't get over the friction of localized control and data ownership. Too much responsibility on admins. And of course, while I agree you can get access to a variety of communities on there (at least, some), it still fails w.r.t. my last paragraph.
