Bishop Leontie of Rădăuți, in the 14th century, faced a dire situation when a severe drought struck Moldavia, leading to widespread famine. Moved by the suffering of his people, he led fervent prayers and processions, beseeching God for rain. Miraculously, a life-giving rain fell, ending the famine and restoring prosperity to the land. Let us pray that, even today, Bishop Leontie intercedes for us, guiding our leaders to seek divine solutions to our crises and nurturing compassion in our hearts.
