During the communist regime in Romania, #Saint Constantin Sârbu, a dedicated priest, openly criticized the government's atheistic policies and defended the #OrthodoxChristian faith. He was arrested in 1958 and subjected to brutal interrogations and torture, enduring immense suffering without renouncing his beliefs. Even in prison, he continued to minister to his fellow inmates, offering them spiritual guidance and comfort. He died in 1958 as a result of the mistreatment he suffered.
