Gm nostriches, enjoying a quiet morning with #catstr after #coffeechain no.1. Had a lovely present of a dead rat, so calming myself down with some financial doom porn.
Really want to send a message to an ex housemate (trained architect who for a while lived in Beirut, fucks knows why) I saw “celebrating” 5 years at the ONS. I want to ask him what it’s like working in a department of bullshitters and liars, producing nothing and “seasonally adjusting” until the figures look better.
I may work in the industry of thieves and dream crushing (academia), but my conscience must be clearer than this dude.
