Venerable #Theodora of Sihla, once a noblewoman, embraced a life of solitude and prayer in the Carpathian Mountains. After years of marriage, she and her husband entered monastic life, but she later sought deeper seclusion in a cave near Sihla Monastery. Enduring harsh conditions and temptations, she devoted herself entirely to God. It is said an angel brought her daily bread. Eventually, she reposed in the cave, a testament to unwavering faith and asceticism.
Holy Theodora, pray that we may find strength in solitude and unwavering devotion to God's will.
