Bro couldn't even walk he was so fat and unfit. The Soviets literally carried him in Berlin.
Needless to say, his concern was still trying to preserve the British empire as it collapsed, trying to use all available resources to fight a war they could never win.
India had starvation due to England stealing their food. Australia, South Africa, New Zealand and other Commonwealth soliders fought in African and for the British, holding out Libya for example.
The Africans too also fought yet got zero recognition.
Instead "the holy Americans" saved England (only) and didn't actually want to be in the war at all. They wanted to get rich off the war, but not get involved.
German U-boats dominated the Atlantic.
Japan attacking Pearl Harbour had zero connection to the European war, but yet, Americans went to fight in France, Netherlands and Belgium.
So while I do not diminish the effort by "allied" troops, the misinformation and Hollywood style history lessons are just lies to make it seem like America saved Europe when it was the Red Army who saved Europe and defeated the Nazi's.
