Just moments after declaring that Republicans in Congress were “unified” behind his Big Beautiful Bill, U.S. President Donald J. Trump took aim at Republican Representative Thomas Massie for signaling he might vote NO. Massie argues the bill would add $20 trillion to the national debt by 2035. Trump responded, saying, “I don’t think Thomas Massie understands government. I think he’s a grandstander—frankly. We don’t really talk to him much. I think he should be voted out of office.”
