I did it!!!!
When I was a little girl I wanted to be a published author. I turned 40 this week and thought to myself the best thing I could do to celebrate would be to cross that off my bucket list.
Today I finished a finished draft of my novel! Over 100k words, a total of 366 pages. It's not published yet but will be heading to an editor soon and will be on track to be published this year.
I also published my first peer-reviewed research paper as a lead author 😁 I won prize money for that effort and will be presenting my research at the national conference later this month.
I also submitted a little poem for publication and also lost about 50 lbs in the past year 😁😁😁
I think I've done well this past year I'm really proud of myself. Happy birthday to me! 🎉🥳🎆
