2025-05-31 04:13:55The core claim of Christianity is that Jesus was literally God, the creator of the universe, that he literally died, and that he literally rose from the dead. I don't know what the Essenses believed, but if they didn't believe those core claims about Christ, I wouldn't call them Christian.
