yeah, that's because none of the relays actually have search implemented, that got partitioned into this nonsense called DVM and i'm probably the only relay dev who has actually implemented search as per NIP-50, well, will be, soon
and the reason is because opensats and jack and the rest are not paying anyone to develop relays, even though many nips implicitly require features to be added to the relay to implement the NIP. pretty lame, as it is i'm building it entirely on my dime though partly because i find my fiat mine job intensely boring and tedious and the whole business is tied to shitcoins which irks me no end
