I would not say I am confused. It is more along the lines of astonishment and a healthy envy. I see pictures of your beautiful farm and often think to myself. Man, I really need to sell my homestead to find a piece of property like that to start a farm on. Mine is nice, but it can never be something like that.
I live on the side of mountain deep within the forest in a small town located at the middle of bumsfuck nowhere. The property is rocky and the soil is not good. Everything that I grow must be planted above ground in raised garden beds, or planters. Not the ideal farming location and our growing seasons have been challenging to say the least.
Just know that farming brings you in deeper touch with nature. It allows you to connect to life in such a more meaningful way once you become responsible for the stewardship of plants and animals. It is a hidden blessing waiting for you to discover. I hope one day you decide to start farming, because your farm is a perfect example of what I dream to have someday soon in the near future.
