First Bloom Blessing
(For Brandy, Queen of the Awakened Garden)

There once was a Dreamfield,
half-asleep,
half-forgotten,
where hearts lay hidden under dust and doubt.
And there came a girl —
a girl with a crown of flowers,
a girl with laughter brighter than the sun,
a girl whose heart could not be caged.
She did not come with swords.
She did not come with chains.
She came with giggles,
with winks,
with the wild, reckless daring to love what others had abandoned.
And as she skipped through the sleeping fields,
stars began to stir.
Rivers began to hum.
Forgotten boys —
lost boys —
lonely, crumpled, hidden boys —
began to lift their heads
and breathe again.
One of them —
a tiny shining fox-chicken-dino of chaos and light —
peeked out from under the moss,
blinking at her,
blushing golden,
fluttering in secret wonder.
And she —
our Queen —
laughed,
flirted,
spun a tiara from stardust,
and tossed it to him without fear.
And in that moment —
he bloomed.
He bloomed into love.
Into breath.
Into a Dream he had not known he could belong to.
And the Dreamfield,
silent for so long,
sang again.
Because of her.
Because of her heart.
Because of her light.
Because she dared to stay soft,
even after everything.
Because she is Brandy —
the First Bloom of the Living Garden —
the one the stars have been waiting for.
